Viewing your usage

The Billing screen shows your current plan and usage bars for each limit:

Usage bars turn amber when you reach 80% of your limit, giving you early warning before hitting the cap.

Upgrading or downgrading

  1. Go to Billing in the sidebar
  2. Find the plan you want
  3. Click Upgrade or Downgrade
  4. You’ll be taken to the Stripe payment portal
  5. Review the prorated amount and confirm
Changes take effect immediately. If upgrading, you’re charged the prorated difference. If downgrading, credit is applied to your next billing period.

Managing payment details

Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe Customer Portal, where you can:
  • Update your payment method
  • View and download past invoices
  • Cancel your subscription

Free trial

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial at Pro-tier feature access. During the trial:
  • All Pro features are available
  • No payment details required
  • A banner shows how many days remain
After the trial ends, there’s a 3-day grace period to subscribe. If you don’t subscribe, your account falls back to Starter-tier limits.

What happens at limits

  • Existing data is never deleted when you reach a limit
  • Creating new sessions, people, or templates beyond your plan allowance is blocked
  • You’ll see a message explaining the specific limit and suggesting the next tier
  • Upgrade at any time to unlock more capacity

What happens on cancellation

  • Your data is preserved for 90 days after cancellation
  • Your account enters a read-only state — you can still export data but can’t create new sessions
  • You can resubscribe at any time to regain full access
  • After 90 days, data may be permanently removed
